would be可以表示虚拟语气,但是在这里for fear that clause的虚拟语气用should加动词原形是固定用法,还有很多这样的词必须用这样的虚拟语气.例如：
He suggested we should go tomorrow.他建议我们明天去.
It is important that we should master English.对我们来说掌握英语是很重要的.
上面两句都是虚拟语气,should可以省略.只有这种特殊的词语（此处为suggest和important）用should加动词原形的虚拟语气时才是可以省略should的.其它should have done形式的就不可以.
第二题用宾语从句的话A的答案时态不对,应该用将来时,而它用的是一般现在时,不正确.所以直接用动名词作宾语.
