本设计是为广元市污水处理厂的设计.针对该城市水质,水量特点以及相关工艺的比较,最终选用AB法作为该污水处理厂的工艺.该污水处理厂的工艺流程为：污水从粗格栅进入提升泵房,进入沉砂池后经过细格栅,依次进入A段曝气池、中间沉淀池、B段沉淀池,最后进入最终沉淀池后出水.污泥从A段和B段排出后通过污泥泵房后进入浓缩池,进入脱水机房,最后外运处理.本设计在确定流程的基础上完成了主要构筑物尺寸的设计以及设备选型等内容.污水处理最终达到国家综合排放（GB8978-1996）中的一级B标准
